Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information SearchVis collects, why, and the choices you have. SearchVis is operated by Outpace Media LLC ("Outpace Media", "we", "us").

1Who we are

SearchVis is an AI search visibility tool that tracks how AI answer engines describe brands. The service is provided by Outpace Media LLC, 120 Greenbriar Cir, Petaluma, CA 94954, USA. For any privacy question, contact privacy@outpace.media.

2Information we collect

• Account information you give us: name, work email, company, and billing details (payment card data is handled by our payment processor, Stripe, and is never stored on our servers).
• Configuration you provide: the brand, competitors, and buyer questions you ask us to track.
• Usage data: log data, device and browser information, and how you interact with the dashboard, collected to run and improve the service.
• Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8).

We do not seek to collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you not send it to us.

3How we use information

• To provide the service: run daily checks, compute your Answer Score, and generate recommendations.
• To bill you and manage your subscription and any done-for-you content.
• To communicate with you about your account, results, and reminders you opt into.
• To secure, maintain, and improve the product, and to comply with law.

We do not sell your personal information.

4Third-party AI engines and data providers

To measure your visibility, SearchVis sends the buyer questions you configure to third-party AI answer engines (such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, and Claude) and to search-results providers. These queries contain your questions, not your personal account data. Those providers process the queries under their own terms and privacy policies. We record the answers they return.

5Sharing and disclosure

We share information only with: (a) service providers who process data on our behalf (hosting, analytics, payment, email, AI and search-data vendors) under contract; (b) a buyer or successor in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale; and (c) authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not otherwise disclose your information.

6Data retention

We keep account and tracking data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs. You can request deletion as described in Section 9.

7Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the app (for example, to keep you signed in) and, with your consent where required, analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

9Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any right, email privacy@outpace.media. We will respond within the time required by law. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

10International transfers, children, and changes

We may process information in the United States and other countries with appropriate safeguards. SearchVis is a business tool not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. We may update this policy; we will post the new date above and, for material changes, give notice.
